Harpur Quad grand openinga and dedication of the Harpur College “Wall of Excellence,” 2 p.m. Plaza outside Library Tower. Harpur College of Arts and Sciences has always been the intellectual heart of Binghamton University. To represent Harpur’s centrality to the campus, the plaza being developed between the science complex, the Fine Arts Building and the Library Tower will be named Harpur Quad. A Wall of Excellence display inside the entrance to the Library Tower will feature a history of Harpur College, points of distinction and recognition of outstanding faculty, remarkable students and accomplished alumni.
