Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, AC-Osterhout Concert Theater. The Trocks, as they are affectionately known, are a company of professional male dancers presenting a playful view of traditional, classical ballet in parody form and en travesti. The comedy is achieved by incorporating and exaggerating the foibles, accidents and underlying incongruities of serious dance. As The New York Times noted, “the power of this ballet is how it stands on its own in classical aptitude. In many ways that’s the power of the Trocks too. All jokes aside, they can really dance.” Whether dance novice or aficionado, you are sure to be amused by the Trocks’ performance. Tickets are: general public, $45; faculty/staff and senior citizens, $40; students,$22. Call 607-777-ARTS.
