Manscuk named to NSCAA All-Northeast Region first team
December 14, 2010Tweet
Senior back Kyle Manscuk has earned first-team All-Northeast Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the first time in his career that he has earned regional accolades.
Manscuk, who scored a team-high four goals in 2010, also earned first-team all-conference honors from the America East last month. It marked the third time in his career he was named all-conference, having earned second-team honors in 2008 and all-rookie honors in 2007.
Since 2003, the Binghamton men’s soccer team has had 12 All-Northeast Region selections. Manscuk is the eighth first-team selection during that period and the first since Adam Chavez and Cameron Keith in 2007.
Binghamton finished the 2010 season 6-7-4 (3-2-2 AE) with five games coming against nationally ranked squads. The Bearcats qualified for the America East Tournament for the eighth consecutive season.
