Zu-yan Chen, professor of Asian and Asian American Studies, has published a book, Cultural Chinese: Readings in Art, Literature, and History (co-authored with Hong Zhang, Georgetown University Press, 2012). In addition, he gave keynote lectures on “A New Approach to Cultural Integration in Teaching Chinese” at Portland State University, the University at Buffalo, York University in Canada, and Nankai University in China.
