Do you feel that you sleep poorly, maybe wake up many times during the night from snoring or feel tired and fatigued during the day? The Clinical Science and Engineering Research Center at Binghamton University is looking for persons who are 40 years or older with poor sleep quality and willing to use a non-pharmacologic intervention to manage sleep. We will be running a research program to test the use of a foot vibration device to improve sleep quality. Call Lynn Baniak at 607-777-5201 to learn more about this study.

Do you suffer from swollen feet/ankles/legs?

The Clinical Science and Engineering Research Center is looking for volunteers to participate in a study on fluid pooling in the legs. Fluid pooling can lead to fatigue, trouble sleeping, cold hands or feet, dizziness, aching joints, brain "fog," varicose veins and/or low blood pressure. We are testing a non-invasive technology being developed at Binghamton University designed to reverse fluid pooling in the legs. The study requires a time commitment of about 2.5 hours. We will assess and stimulate your leg muscles while you sit in a chair. Appointments are available for weekdays, nights and weekends. Contact Chloe Weng via e-mail
