UUP raise to take effect
July 14, 2015
Pursuant to the 2011-2016 UUP Agreement there will be a 2 percent across-the-board salary increase with an effective date of July 2, 2015, for calendar-year and college-year (12-month) employees. This increase will begin in the check of July 29, 2015. For academic year employees (Sept. 1 faculty), the effective date will be Aug. 27, 2015, and the increase will begin in the check of Sept. 23, 2015. TIAA-CREF individual counseling sessions available

Get your Rec Center fall membership and pinnie

Fall semester and annual fitness and rec memberships are now available for purchase online by current students, faculty and staff. Buy an academic annual or annual fitness membership today and get your Play Hard pinnie before they’re gone. All memberships and lockers will be available for purchase at the Rec Center front desk beginning Monday, Aug. 10. Fall memberships will become active Friday, Aug. 28 of opening weekend.
If you wish to use the Rec Center before that date, you must purchase a Summer Session II membership. Summer memberships remain on sale but are only available in-house. Sale rates are in effect through Friday, July 10, and memberships remain active through Friday, Aug. 21.

“Save the Date” and contribute ideas for Homecoming 2015

Homecoming 2015, the premier on-campus event for alumni, will occur take place Friday-Sunday, Oct. 9-11. The Alumni Relations office is working with campus partners to build a full schedule of events meant to engage the entire University community of students, faculty, staff and alumni throughout the weekend. Homecoming 2015 events will include a celebration of 50 years of doctoral education hosted by the Graduate School, a men’s tennis reunion, the 20th anniversary of the MPA program, an Alumni of Color reunion, the dedication of the new Alumni Center and the second annual TIER Talks (Talks that Inspire, Educate and Resonate). A number of other programs and events are being developed.
