Sustainable Communities TAE Call for Graduate Student Research Grant Proposals

The Sustainable Communities Transdisciplinary Area of Excellence (SC-TAE) announces its second annual Graduate Research Grants Program to support eligible master and doctoral students who are working on research or scholarly activities related to the Sustainable Communities mission at Binghamton University. The goal is to help develop the next generation of scholars in the area of sustainable communities by supporting students in their research and scientific journey, nurturing their ideas and perspectives, and helping them gain valuable skillsets and exposure through conference presentations and scholarly publications.

Binghamton Research Days: Save the date!

Binghamton University will celebrate research with a series of events April 22-24, 2015. Faculty members, academic departments and programs, and student groups are invited to plan events related to research. The schedule will include student poster sessions, speakers and more. Faculty members are encouraged to take several minutes during class on one of those days to introduce themselves as scholars. This year, organizers have chosen to focus on sustainability as a theme.
