The Passie Hinden Burch and Vivian Burch Fund for Holocaust Literature presents Robert Melson reading from his Holocaust memoir “False Papers” at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in FA-258. This event is free and open to the public. Melson will sign books after the reading. Melson, emeritus professor of political science at Purdue University, was the Cathy-Cohen Lasry Distinguished Professor in the Strassler Family Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. He is a charter member of the International Association of Genocide Scholars as well as its former president. His “False Papers: Deception and Survival in the Holocaust” was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award for 2001.
