Comedic dance sure to delight

A hilarious evening is in store at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, when the Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo troupe, known as the Trocks, brings a mixed-rep of comedic dance to the Anderson Center stage. Although this all-male company portrays classical ballet in a funny fashion, the dance is seriously professional.

Since their founding in 1974, the Trocks have participated in dance festivals, appeared on television shows and specials, have had their own special and were featured in a documentary. Their original concept continues to be: entertain and amuse ballet aficionados as well as novices while bringing dance to the widest possible audiences.
