Denim Day will be held on campus Wednesday, April 24. Denim Day is a sexual assault prevention education campaign, where members of the campus community will be asked to make a social statement with their fashion by wearing jeans as a visible means of protest against misconceptions that surround sexual assault. The Health Education Office is collecting worn/used jeans or any other denim material (such as shirts) to make accessories from the denim that students can wear on that day. Drop off your worn/used jeans at our office in the Decker Student Health Services Building-IN-124, by Monday, April 22. We are open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. To access our entrance, use the outside staircase to the far right of the building. Or call our office at 607-777-2254 and we will pick up the denim material.
