Suicide TALK helps create a climate for open and direct talk about suicide, reducing the stigma and supporting an increase in protective networks. In order to deal openly with the stigma, this exploration focuses on the question, "Should we talk about suicide?" All Binghamton University community members are welcome and encouraged to learn more about this critical topic at this workshop with Melanie Puorto-Conte, director of the Suicide Prevention Initiative of the New York State Office of Mental Health,from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept.4, in UUW-324.
