Framing Perspectives opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. today, Thursday, April 25, at the Nancy J. Powell Gallery, University Art Museum, Room 179. This exhibition was curated by undergraduate students enrolled in Museums and the Art of Exhibitions, taught by Professor Pamela Smart. Framing Perspectives uses objects from the museum’s permanent collection to explore ways in which disciplinary approaches inform a viewer’s engagement with objects. Support for the exhibition was provided by the Offices of the President and of the Dean of Harpur College. Museum hours are noon-4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and noon-7 p.m. Thursday. Admission is free.
