First Aid Certification class offered

Campus Recreation is offering a first aid class from 5:30-9 p.m. in the Rec Center, EG-18, on Wednesday, Feb 20. Participants learn to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts and scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck and back injuries, and heat and cold emergencies.

The cost is $60 and includes copy of Adult Ready Reference Card and certification (valid for 2 years). Participants must register at the Rec Center Front Desk by noon Tuesday, Feb. 19. For more information, contact the Rec Center Front Desk at 777-PLAY or go online.
