There will be an interactive presentation, "The food environment: cues that drive behavior and influence choice," at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in UU-Old Union Hall. This event is free and open to the public, and will explain how to better identify and deal with the daily traps that can lead toward less healthy dietary decisions. Kathryn Hoy, MFN, RD, CDN, is a researcher at the Cornell Food and Brand Lab and manager of the Cornell Center for Behavioral Economics in Child Nutrition (BEN). Part of the Healthy Campus Initiative, this event is co-sponsored by the Eating Awareness Committee, Sodexo and Campus Recreation.
