Global Health Conference open to all
TweetThere will be a shuttle to transport people leaving from Mohawk on campus from 9-10 a.m., and returning from 3-4 p.m. All Binghamton University faculty and staff are invited to attend along with their students. The conference includes talks by Binghamton faculty, a panel of local physicians, a panel of international graduate students and a keynote address by the executive director of UAEM. This interdisciplinary event includes speakers from anthropology, nursing, economics, biology, chemistry, philosophy, health and wellness, Africana studies, international affairs, experts in technology transfer and much more! We hope that this conference will be the first step in creating a larger initiative for global health at Binghamton, including a global health curriculum, more research being conducted on neglected diseases, and greater accountability and transparency in our research and licensing policies.
