Harpur Chorale and Women’s Chorus concert

Enjoy an evening “South of the Border” as the Binghamton University Harpur Chorale, directed by Peter Browne, and Women’s Chorus, directed by Thom Baker and Emmanuel Sikora, present music of Latin America and the Caribbean at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the AC-Chamber Hall. The concert will feature Binghamton University vocal student soloists Kimberly Torres, Kate Sherwood, Denise Aquino and Christian Martin with percussionist Emily Goetz and pianist Jushin Choi.
The program will include a festive array of choral works from Brazil, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina and Aruba by Eduardo Alonxo-Crespo, Oscar Escalada, Jose Mena, Antonio Estevez, Guido Lopez-Gavilan and more! Tickets are $6 general public; $3 faculty/staff/seniors and free for students and are available at the Anderson Center Box Office from noon-5:30 p.m. weekdays, by calling 607-777-ARTS, online at http://anderson.binghamton.edu or at the door.
