The Writing Initiative’s “How I Write” series presents Bat-Ami Bar On, professor of philosophy and of women, gender and sexuality studies, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in UUW-324. The series features Binghamton University faculty members in conversation about their writing lives. Topics include work habits; publishing for different audiences; balancing work, research, family and publication; and sources of influence and inspiration. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in a dialogue with Bar On about her life as a writer. The series is open to anyone interested in how writers get their work done. All members of the Binghamton University community are invited to attend, including faculty, graduate students, undergraduates, staff and administration. Questions? Contact Robert Danberg, coordinator of campus-wide writing support.
