IASH Speaker Series continues Wednesday

IASH Speaker Series will present Richard MacKenney, professor of history, from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the IASH Conference Room (LN-1106). He will discuss “The Renaissance: Inter-Disciplinary Approaches.” The project explores the potential of the Renaissance in Italy and Europe for interdisciplinary study at graduate level. There are four notional components: the classical tradition, humanism, the visual arts and architecture, the Shakespearean stage. The presentation will set out some of the possibilities across the humanities, and will invite suggestions and guidance from specialists who may care to attend.
