Important program for all graduate studentsTweet
The program – "Distressed Students 101: How to identify, respond to and help students in distress" – is scheduled from 8:30-10 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 20 and 21, in the UU-Mandela Room C. Participants select which of the two days they would like to attend. Sponsored by the University Counseling Center, as well as the provost’s office and the dean of students, the program will teach participants how to identify and help distressed students. The interactive workshop will focus on effective strategies, resources, communication skills and referrals for responding to disruptive or dangerous behavior. Participants will learn about key campus resources for helping students. Join us for a free breakfast and tell your friends.
