Public lecture on forms of exit from capitalism

Andrej Grubacic, associate professor and chair of the Department of Anthropology and Social Change at the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, will give a public lecture on “Different forms of exit from capitalism: Cossacks and Zapatistas” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in AA-330 of the Fernand Braudel Center. This event is co-sponsored by the Fernand Braudel Center for the Study of Economies, Historical Systems, and Civilizations and the Harpur College Dean of Arts and Sciences, as part of the Harpur College Dean’s Speaker Series on Exilic Spaces and the World-Economy: Territorial and Structural Escape. This lecture is free and open to the public.
