Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR classes Saturday

Campus Recreation is holding a CPR for Professional Rescuers Certification class from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Rec Center, EG-18. Designed for individuals with a duty to respond to emergencies, this program combines discussions, video and hands-on training. Course covers how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over.
Topics include: Primary assessment, Ventilations, Choking, CPR and use of an AED. Certifications are valid for two years. The cost is $95 and includes copy of handbook, reusable breathing barrier and certification. Register by noon Friday, Feb. 22.
