Slide Mountain snowshoe trip Saturday

Join Outdoor Pursuits from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, to climb the tallest peak in the Catskills and experience the awe that inspired writer-naturalist John Burroughs! This is a trip for the never-ever adventurer, as well as the seasoned hiker.

As we ascend higher and higher, impressive views will encourage us to continue on. If you are up to the challenge, be prepared for a steady incline and a long downhill on the return of course. The fee is $15 and includes transportation and equipment (winter boots can be provided if needed). Sign up in the Outdoor Pursuits office Rec Center, EG-10 by Thursday, Jan. 31.
