Join the Steps to B-Healthy walking program| April 8, 2014
We’re bringing back the University walking program to encourage students, faculty and staff members to get up, get moving and stay healthy!
Join by yourself, with a friend or, better yet, build a team. Participants will be asked to register for Steps to B-Healthy
and log miles run or walked through the American Heart Association Activity Tracker. You can count your daily steps with a pedometer or activity tracker, or by converting mileage to steps. To get you started, you’ll receive a free pedometer when you register for the walking program.
There will be twelve monthly contests to help keep you motivated — some will be personal challenges, others will be team. Prizes will be provided by the Department of Campus Recreation and Binghamton University Dining Services by Sodexo, who are co-sponsoring the walking program.
Full details on how to register as well as monthly goals and prizes are available on the B-Healthy website
Join us as we take strides to make Binghamton a healthy campus by participating in this B-Healthy initiative. Choose well, be well!
