Research

Currently the institute is involved in interdisciplinary biomedical and biobehavioral research that focuses on the causes and consequences of health and disease including stress and hypertension (high blood pressure).

The Institute is a also involved in a joint venture creation of a new clinic with Valley Health Care, Binghamton, NY, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City, Binghamton University's Biomedical Anthropology Program and the Center for Protein Dynamics in the study of co-morbidities.
