Housing

There are many housing options available for international students and visiting scholars at Binghamton University. These housing options vary based on whether or not you choose to live on-campus and if you are an undergraduate or graduate student.

All Binghamton University freshmen (both domestic and international) must live on campus for their first year. This will allow you to be more connected to campus life, faculty, and other freshmen. There several different residential communities on campus to choose from.

Undergraduate students with sophomore standing or above (>23 credits) can opt to live off-campus.

There is limited on-campus housing available for graduate students.

Please keep in mind that International Student and Scholar Services cannot act as an agent on your behalf or assist you in arranging housing agreements, but we can act as an informational resource.

If, after looking over the resources linked above, you have any questions, please contact International Student and Scholar Services at 607-777-2510, come to our open advising hours, or e-mail intlhous@binghamton.edu
