The Southern Tier and the Greater Binghamton area is a wonderful place to be during all four seasons.  There are many outdoor festivals happening almost every weekend.

Agri-Tourism

Green Brothers Apple Hills is a working fruit farm, where you can pick berries during the summer and apples in the Fall. They sometimes offer family events and also have a small shop, a few farm animals to see, and a restaurant.  It is open year round Monday – Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm. During the Fall months up until October 31st, Iron Kettle Farm outside of Owego on the drive to Ithaca has a fantastic pumpkin display and activities for kids.  Most of it is free and open to the public.  From Spring to Fall it sells fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, home-baked goods, and has a gift shop.  http://www.ironkettlefarm.com/
