Steps to change the Hotmail settings to receive Listserv messages:

1. Log into your Hotmail email account.
2. Go to the Options panel in hotmail. It is written next to the Contacts tab. (Circled in yellow). Click on the Options tab.
   
3. Click on the 'Safe List'. (Circled in red).
   
   
   
   
4. It will take you to another window as shown below. Type in the listserv email address (isss-bu@listserv.binghamton.edu) in the textfield below 'Type a single e-mail address (or domain):'. (Circled in red).
   
   
   
   
5. Click on Add. This will add the email address to the Safe List.
   
   
   
   
6. Click Ok. Messages from email addresses in the Safe List are always delivered to your Inbox.
