How to Obtain Your Student ID Card
Your Binghamton University Student ID is an important document that will help you succeed as a Binghamton University Student. Your Student ID is needed for residence hall and room access, as well as many other student services including:
- Meal plan and BUCS
- Free rides on Binghamton city buses
- Access to on-campus fitness/gym facilities
- Identification on campus and beyond
- Checking out library books
In order to ensure that you receive your Student ID during Orientation, you can upload a current photo of yourself that will be used to create your Student ID. Click here to continue with the ID photo upload process. You will need your BU username and password to upload your photo.
Please complete this process before your scheduled Orientation date. Your Student ID card can be picked up at the Office of Student Records which is located in the Admissions Center, Room 112.
You must bring a government issued photo ID, such as a passport or a driver's license, in order to receive your Student ID. You will not be given your Binghamton University ID card without a government issued photo ID.
