Accessing Your E-mail

Information Technology Services prefers that you use the web interface to access BMail ( as there are some applications within the Google Apps suite that are ONLY accessible through the web; however, the mailbox can be accessed with a mail client of your choice (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook) or by using a mobile device.

Using Outlook Google Sync

Windows users on campus, that are not using the web interface are preferred to use the Google Apps Sync took for Outlook. As long as you have Outlook installed on your machine, download and install  the Google Apps Sync Tool. Once downloaded you will enter your e-mail address and password and your account will be synced to Outlook. 

Using another mail client with SMTP settings

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - Requires TLS
Port: 465 or 587
Requires SSL: Yes
Requires authentication: Yes
Use same settings as incoming mail server
Full Name or Display Name: [your name]
Account Name or User Name: your full Bmail address (user 
E-mail address: your full Bmail address ( Google Apps users, please enter user
Password: your Bmail password
