Background

Dr. Nancy Abashian has served Binghamton University Libraries since 2006, most recently as the senior director for public services and the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) at Binghamton University. She provides executive leadership to a dedicated team of faculty and staff with a commitment to providing high-quality, user-centered services throughout the University’s library system. Nancy also directs the Libraries’ efforts to promote inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility emphasizing work around combating the systemic effects of racism.
