Welcome to the Binghamton University Libraries website!
I am delighted to have recently joined the University as dean of libraries and am ready and excited to embark on the road ahead.
Thanks to the leadership and vision of my predecessors, the Libraries has long served as an intellectual center for the campus and greater community. And thanks to the Libraries' most important resource — its experienced and dedicated faculty and staff — a wide range of quality services and collections are provided in an environment that invites, encourages and supports innovation in learning and teaching.
One of my favorite quotes from John F. Kennedy shares his belief that, "leadership and learning are indispensable to each other," a concept obviously familiar to the many student-leaders at Binghamton. It is the high caliber of our students, who recognize the impact of learning on their lifetime success, that drives and inspires everything we do. Each resource, service, program, exhibit and event offered in the Libraries supports the academic pursuits of our current and future leaders.
It is my privilege to become a member of such a dedicated educational community and to help carry it forward.
I hope your visit to our site today has been helpful and enjoyable. I encourage you to contact me at email@example.com if you have any feedback or suggestions regarding the Libraries.
