Gifts and Endowments
Donors have chosen to commemorate their love for learning through gifts that help transform the nature of research, reshape the facilities, and develop the collections at the Binghamton University Libraries.
Ways to Give
Cash: Gifts of cash are convenient and preferred by many donors. The Libraries' Online Giving is a way for alumni and friends to designate gifts to support the Libraries. Choose University Libraries under School or Unit designation on the online giving form.
Matching Gifts: Many employees have a matching gift program that multiplies the gifts their employees make to institutions of higher education. Given through a matching gift program, your gift can double or triple the impact.
Endowment: Endowments provide support in perpetuity for resources, scholarships, programs, or professorships. These named giving opportunities will benefit any number of library functions and projects, from collections to preservation to instruction.
Funding Collections: Selected collections of books or other materials may be named for benefactors who contribute significant financial gifts for the preservation of the collection.
Planned Charitable Giving: Donors may name the University Libraries as beneficiary of a gift in trust or provide support through charitable bequests of financial or other assets in their wills.
