alumni in action

Fall 2013

Isn’t this what Homecoming’s all about?

Kelly Brissenden, left, and Sara Sunshine, both ’13 and former Mountainview roommates, see each other for the first time since graduation at the annual Homecoming Tailgate party. About 700 alumni returned to campus for a picture-perfect October weekend.

Thanks for the beanies!

This summer, we asked if someone had an original Harpur College beanie to donate to our archives. Now we have four, thanks to Frances Parker ’61 of Waterville, Maine; Robert Argersinger ’65 of Vernon Hills, Ill.; David R. Lenorovitz ’67 of Littleton, Colo.; and Sue Ann Castaldo ’63 of Phoenix, Ariz. Castaldo made her first trip to campus in 25 years in September. She modeled her beanie before donating it and received a Binghamton University sweatshirt in return. Castaldo says she wore her beanie faithfully when she was a freshman: “I was never caught without it.”
