The numbers add up

39: Binghamton University’s rank among public colleges and universities, according to the latest assessment by U.S. News & World Report in its 2011 listing of “America’s Best Colleges.”

86: Binghamton’s rank among all public and private universities on the “America’s Best Colleges” list.

Where Binghamton is on the “Up-and-Comers” list in “America’s Best Colleges.” Institutions on this new list were nominated by college administrators as having made the most promising and innovative changes in academics, faculty, student life, campus or facilities.

Binghamton landed among the 50 top public universities on the Princeton Review’s guide to “Best 373 Colleges.”

Where Binghamton is on the Princeton Review’s list of public universities with best value based on academics, cost of attendance and financial aid.

Where Binghamton is on Forbes magazine’s ranking of best buys.
