Alumni Events

Be BOLD, go to Eval at Quirky
Have you ever looked at a product and said, "Who thought that was a good idea?" Here's your chance to find out — by being part of a forum that previews and votes on which cool inventions are sold in stores. Quirky is a community invention company that hosts weekly "Evals" to select the next inventions that will be designed and produced. A panel of experts, a live audience and people online contribute their thoughts in the decision-making process. Bearcats of the Last Decade (BOLD) alumni will be members of the live audience on Thursday, Aug. 6, at Quirky headquarters in Manhattan. A tour of Quirky is at 6 p.m., with food and drinks, and the Eval starts at 7. The event is free, but click here to register by July 31.
