Some of the correspondence in the Tilly Losch collection would sound familiar to viewers of "Downton Abbey." There are worries about the serving staff — finding the right people and keeping them employed — and there is a Christmas card showing the Earl of Carnarvon hunting (as Lord Crawley likes to do).
