Forced to flee, photographer gets to work

Friday morning

I wake around 4 a.m. with a backache from sleeping on a hard couch with my dog. For the past 24 hours, I have had no news of my home. My curiosity gets the best of me, and I drive toward Castle Gardens. I get within 2 miles before being stopped by a barricade. After a quick stop at a gas station for a gallon of milk, protein bars, the newspaper and doggy treats, I’m back at the computer, editing photos and posting them to Facebook.
