Research

For the first time in history the trend of African Americans has been reversed. More African American are moving out of northern cities to southern counties.This research strives to provide a better understanding of the basic characteristics of these migrants.

The primary focus of this research are the migration streams of African Americans from the New York Metropolitan area to Harris County Texas.


Personal Reflection

Future plans:
To get into a J.D. / Ph.D. program.I would like to obtain my Ph.d in Criminalogy/ Sociology

Why a PhD:
I believe that the highest honor one can obtain is a Ph.D. Also, I want to be the first in my family to earn one.
