Future Plans:
To obtain a Ph.D and I want to look at the root of this issue and indicate what policies and social needs such as: education system, health care, and jobs need to help Latinos to prosper in the U.S.
Why a PhD:
Pursuing my doctorates degree in sociology/Geography because it will enable me to achieve my goal not only as a researcher but a Latina woman who will change and incorporate new knowledge in the academia and public policy sphere.
