Welcome to the McNair Scholars Summer Research Internship Program

Monday, June 1, 2015 – Sunday, July 26, 2015


Commencement 2008
  • Conduct research under a faculty mentor in your major for 30 hours a week for eight weeks.
  • Receive a competitive stipend to support you while you conduct your research.
  • Present your research at national McNair conferences.
  • Faculty mentor may receive assistance with summer research expenses.

Please note: you will need to paste/submit a short essay (500 words or less) explaining why you should be accepted as a Summer Research Intern. Please be sure to include an explanation if there is a particular faculty member with whom you would like to work this summer. Also include if the faculty member is willing to supervise your work.
