Experience “Shakespeare’s Italy” next spring

BINGHAMTON -- The Binghamton University Alumni Association and Department of Theatre are offering a tour of Italy, scheduled for March 18-27, 2011. The tour is open to the public.

Join faculty members Tom Kremer and Carol Hanscom for “Shakespeare’s Italy.” Explore this European nation from a whole new perspective and see the places that inspired William Shakespeare himself. Travelers will visit cities such as Venice, Verona, Rome, Padua and Orvieto. Guests will experience sites such as the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and even Juliet’s house and her famous balcony.

The trip costs $2,950 per person (based on double occupancy), which includes airfare, lodging, some meals, admissions fees at various venues and all travel within the country. A $500 deposit should be made as soon as possible.
