School of Management to celebrate milestone at Homecoming
BINGHAMTON, NY -- The Binghamton University School of Management (SOM) will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a reception and gala dinner to be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, in the University Union’s Mandela Room. This event is part of the University’s annual Homecoming weekend, which is scheduled for Friday-Sunday, Oct. 8-10.
Dean Upinder Dhillon will join faculty and alumni in celebrating the SOM’s growth and success since its inception in 1970. The school is recognized among the elite business schools in the nation. Earlier this year, Bloomberg BusinessWeek ranked SOM’s undergraduate program 12th in the nation among public institutions and 35th overall – this represented the highest rankings in the school’s history.
