Women Business Owners discuss presentation skills

2010-11-16

BINGHAMTON, NY – “Powerful Presentation Skill for Business Owners” will be the topic of discussion at the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, at the Binghamton Regency, located on Water Street in Binghamton.

Dot Marinaccio, regional marketing representative for the NYS Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals with Disabilities (VESID), will provide tips on how to prepare a powerful message for any audience.  In addition, participants will learn how to become effective presenters, regardless of how many “hats” one might be wearing when building a business.

Marinaccio has over 25 years experience working with the disabled in the Southern Tier.   She serves as president for the Human Resource Association of the Twin Tiers.

The roundtable costs $10 a person payable at the door and includes an improved continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and brochures to share.

Advance registration is required. Call Binghamton University’s Small Business Development Center at 607-777-4024 or e-mail SBDC@binghamton.edu <SBDC@binghamton.edu> to register.
