Binghamton University to host panel discussion on issues facing the nation


BINGHAMTON, NY – A panel discussion to explore some of the challenges facing the nation will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Apr. 5, in Mandela Room, located in the University Union on the Binghamton University campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The discussion will examine a broad range of contemporary philosophical, political, economic and historical issues. The panelists, all of whom are Binghamton University faculty, include Alan Lockard, visiting assistant professor of economics; John McNulty, assistant professor of political science; Anthony Reeves, visiting assistant professor of philosophy; and Wendy Wall, associate professor of history. The discussion will be moderated by Donald Nieman, dean of Harpur College of Arts and Sciences.
