Women business owners discuss ways to maximize brain power
“Brain Gym 102”will be the topic of the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, at the Holiday Inn Arena on Hawley Street in downtown Binghamton.
Janice Fiore, a consultant and licensed Brain Gym practitioner, will teach participants simple movements that can stimulate brain function. Brain Gym, which grew from clinical studies started in 1969, uses targeted movements to improve brain functions such as concentration, memory, reading and organization skills. Using Brain Gym, Fiore will also help participants discover communication skills, positive attitude and increased self-esteem.
The roundtable costs $10 a person payable at the door and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and brochures to share.
