Binghamton University offers the fourth annual London theater tour
The success of previous trips to London, Ireland, and Scotland prompts the Binghamton University Alumni Association and Professors Tom Kremer and Carol Hanscom of the Theatre Department to coordinate the London Revisited Tour, scheduled to run from January 5-13, 2008.
Participants of the tour will get a chance to enjoy some of the finest art collections in the world, centuries old historical sites, and some of the best of British theatre with lively discussions to follow.
Highlights of the trip include tours of the Drury Lane and Globe Theaters, a visit to Oxford University, Stratford-upon-Avon, performances at the Royal National Theatre and in the West End, as well as a guided tour of the British Museum’s diverse collections.
Travelers will also have plenty of free time for sightseeing, shopping and exploration. Performances scheduled to date include The Lord of the Rings musical and Much Ado About Nothing with Zoe Wanamaker.
