Binghamton University to hold “Instant Decision Day” for BCC students
BINGHAMTON, NY -- Binghamton University will hold an “Instant Decision Day” for Broome Community College (BCC) students from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, in BCC’s Office of Counseling Services, located in Suite 210 of the Student Services Building.
Admissions counselors will be on hand to meet with BCC students who seek to transfer to Binghamton University in Spring 2012 and major in the arts, sciences or human development. Counselors will meet one-on-one with all applicants to determine admission to Binghamton.
Applicants must have successfully completed 45 credits, and those with a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher are encouraged to apply online via The Common Application or The SUNY Application. Links for both applications can be found at www.apply.binghamton.edu. Students should bring official, sealed transcripts from previous colleges attended, and BCC will provide official transcripts for students.

Approximately 1,300 of all entering students at Binghamton are transfers with more than half coming from two-year schools, including Broome Community College.
