TEDxBinghamtonUniversity will feature a multimedia program of videos, performances and some of the world’s leading thinkers and doers, all presenting on the theme of “From Insight to Impact.”

TED, which stands for technology, entertainment and design, is a nonprofit organization devoted to the notion of ‘Ideas Worth Spreading.’ Started as a conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. TED went on to create TEDx, which is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including TEDxBinghamton University, are self-organized.
