A free seminar for high-tech, small businesses seeking grants

BINGHAMTON, NY –The Small Business Development Center at Binghamton University will host regional small businesses that are interested in finding and applying for high-technology research and innovation grants from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 18, in room 2008 at Binghamton University’s Innovative Technologies Complex, 85 Murray Hill Road, Vestal. Guest speakers will help attendees gain a better understanding of what is required to complete winning Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (SBTT) and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) grant proposals. Attendees will meet former award winners who will share success stories and network with entrepreneurs, researchers and agency representatives from the Southern Tier region.
