Women business owners roundtable asks, “Are You Focused for Business Success?”

“Are You Focused for Business Success?” will be discussed during the Binghamton University Small Business Development Center’s Women Business Owners Roundtable from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday, January 26, at the Binghamton Regency on Water Street in downtown Binghamton.

Mary Ann Thompson, a life coach and motivational speaker, will explore ways of identifying roadblocks to success, as well as planning the proper steps to success.  Participants will also learn how to clarify their business vision and how to distinguish a business and from a hobby.

Thompson, who owns and operates the local business Achieve, founded the “Celebrating Women in Business” conference, twice serving as its chairperson in 2003 and 2004.

The roundtable costs $10 a person payable at the door and includes a continental breakfast. Attendees are encouraged to bring business cards and brochures to share.
Advance registration is required. Call Binghamton University’s Small Business Development Center at 607-777-4024 to register.
